About Us
The Community of Christ is a Christian Church that spans the globe with World Church Headquarters located in Independence, Missouri (USA). Some links on these Richardson Community of Christ pages will take you to the World Church Web Site (http://www.cofchrist.org/).

Our Church Seal (above) is a representation of the Peace of the Kingdom of Christ as described by the prophet Isaiah in the Bible:

"... The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."
- Isaiah 11:6

It is this Perfect Peace to which we, as Christians, dedicate our lives, our endeavors, our talents, and our resources. This kind of peace can only be attained when we are at peace with ourselves and at peace with God. When we have this peace, we can then begin to experience a real peace in our homes, in our communities, and among nations. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and we must allow Him to work in our lives to have such peace.

It is our mission and our goal to establish this Perfect Peace and the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father here on Earth. Christ himself prayed that this would come to pass when he taught us how to pray:

"... Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is done in Heaven..."
